For Thrive Global: The Pandemic Purgatory

It took me a while, but here is the piece I wrote about the pandemic for Thrive. It’s been a weird few months for everyone – I know everyone is dealing with their own form of purgatory.

I’ve been watching a lot of late night TV (on Youtube) and Seth Meyers always ends with – “Stay Safe, Wash your hands and We love you”.

For Thrive Global: Our Productive Passions

Since my trip to the UK back at the end of Feb, I struggled on how I would write essentially a ‘trade’ piece and have it be relevant. I think I succeed – read it here.

San Diego (July 15-19)

I generally don’t love San Diego, as I find it a bit sleepy. That aside, I was there for a conference for nursing work. I actually had my first research poster as part of the conference, which was the main reason I was there. But being fresh from NY a week before, I had 4 days to get the poster set. I got it done though and I was happy with the outcome.

Besides the conference, I managed to get my fill of some really great food which included Oscars,  Juniper and Ivy and Extraordinary Desserts.

After the conference, I headed north to San Fransisco for a few days.
