A travel flashback to July 2019. 🇲🇨 Most people know these streets for the roar of Formula 1 engines. On this day, they were considerably quieter.

Looking down on one of the world’s most famous race circuits, it was easy to imagine the speed, precision, and spectacle that transform Monaco into the centre of the motorsport world each year.

Even without the race, Monaco delivers: Ocean views, cliffside architecture, superyachts, and a setting unlike anywhere else on the Riviera.

Here’s another one from Fall 2023.

One of the perks of attending press trips is occasionally getting a sneak peek at what’s still to come — and this was one of those moments.

This is Villa Sea Princess Nika, part of @boutiquehotelalhambra , before it officially opened to guests. Set beside Čikat Bay on the Croatian island of Lošinj, the villa pairs Adriatic calm with elevated luxury: Seven suites, private spa and gym, wine cellar tavern, cinema room, outdoor kitchen, pool and jacuzzi terrace overlooking the bay — plus butler service upon request.

Surrounded by Aleppo pines, crystal-clear water, and some of the cleanest air in Europe, this is the kind of destination that takes the idea of a “health spa” to another level.

A flashback to May 2022 (not sure how this was 4 years ago!) On the descent from Everest Base Camp, we stopped in Namche Bazaar before continuing toward Lukla. Historically, Namche served as the trading post of the Himalayas. Less retail therapy, more yak caravans, prayer wheels, and mountain stories shared between international travellers passing through the Khumbu.
