For BELLA: Marvellous Mexico

February 9, 2020

I can’t believe that I forgot to post this! Such a great trip with Jose Cuervo. I definitely did not get my fill of street tacos though, or enough time at the Anthropology museum.

Here is my piece for BELLA.

And now for the trip details…. Hampyeong Seawater And now for the trip details….

Hampyeong Seawater Steaming

A traditional Korean wellness practice said to date back to the 1800s, combining seawater, locally sourced sulfur-rich stones and medicinal mugwort.

The stones are heated with pine wood before being combined with seawater to create a warm, mineral-rich steam bath. Rooted in traditional Korean bathing and herbal medicine, the practice has long been associated with women’s wellness and skin care.

A centuries-old ritual that feels both grounding and restorative. Would you try this treatment?
